According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2025, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 397.0 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 803.7 mln pcs (3.0 times).

The import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year, compared to April 2024, grew by 136.2 mln pcs (+52.2%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (April 2023), the import rose by 138.4 mln pcs (+53.5%).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 2.7 B pcs, exceeding last year's value by 2.1 B pcs (4.0 times).
