According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2025, the export of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 288.4 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the export decreased by 11.3 mln pcs (-3.8%).
Year-on-year, the export of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 215.9 mln pcs (-42.8%) compared to February 2024.
Relative to the same month two years ago (February 2023), the export rose by 45.4 mln pcs (+18.7%).
Year-to-date, the export of cigars and cigarettes reached 588.1 mln pcs, down by 172.4 mln pcs (-22.7%) compared to last year.
