According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 573.8 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 339.8 mln pcs (2.5 times).

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 28.2 mln pcs (-4.7%) compared to July 2023.

Compared to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import decreased by 97.3 mln pcs (-14.5%).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 2.9 B pcs, which is 151.7 mln pcs (-4.9%) less than last year's figure.
