According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in September 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) amounted to 1.5 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 413.6 metric tons (+39.0%).

In comparison to September 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco showed a year-on-year increase of 252.5 metric tons (+20.7%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import increased by 104.8 metric tons (+7.7%).

YTD, the import of unmanufactured tobacco totaled 8.9 thsd metric tons, which is 1.1 thsd metric tons (-11.3%) less than last year's figure.
