According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in March 2025 amounted to 1.1 thsd metric tons.

The import dropped by 741.3 metric tons (-41.1%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to March 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco year-on-year increased by 424.9 metric tons (+66.6%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2023), the import rose by 337.7 metric tons (+46.6%).

YTD, the import of unmanufactured tobacco amounted to 4.8 thsd metric tons, which is 2.6 thsd metric tons (2.2 times) more compared to the same period last year.
