Kazakhstan: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for February 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in February 2024 reached 316.7 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 118.6 mln pcs (-27.2%).

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes rose by 47.4 mln pcs (+17.6%) compared to February 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import showed a decrease of 28.0 mln pcs (-8.1%).

Year-to-date, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 752.1 mln pcs, up by 356.3 mln pcs (+90.0%) compared to the previous year.
