According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in March 2025, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 1.2 B pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 310.2 mln pcs (+34.8%).

Compared to March 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 962.5 mln pcs (5.0 times).

The import grew by 759.4 mln pcs (2.7 times) compared to the same month two years ago (March 2023).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes reached 2.3 B pcs, increasing by 1.9 B pcs (5.6 times) compared to last year.
