Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for February 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 108.0 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 33.2 mln pcs (+44.4%).

Compared to February 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year decreased by 141.7 mln pcs (2.3 times).

Two years ago, in the same month (February 2022), the import increased by 47.7 mln pcs (+79.2%).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 182.9 mln pcs, falling by 370.0 mln pcs (3.0 times) compared to the previous year.
