According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in March 2024 amounted to 695.2 M pcs.

The import increased by 378.4 M pcs (2.2 times) compared to the previous month.

Compared to March 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 153.0 M pcs (+28.2%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import rose by 183.7 M pcs (+35.9%).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 1.4 B pcs, which is 509.3 M pcs (+54.3%) more compared to the same period last year.
