Kazakhstan: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for March 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in March 2024 amounted to 695.2 mln pcs.

The import increased by 378.4 mln pcs (2.2 times) compared to the previous month.

Compared to March 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 153.0 mln pcs (+28.2%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import rose by 183.7 mln pcs (+35.9%).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 1.4 B pcs, which is 509.3 mln pcs (+54.3%) more compared to the same period last year.
