Kazakhstan: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in May 2024 reached 327.8 M pcs.

The import dropped by 33.7 M pcs (-9.3%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 285.5 M pcs (-46.5%) compared to May 2023.

Compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import decreased by 291.5 M pcs (-47.1%).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes reached 2.1 B pcs, increasing by 215.4 M pcs (+11.2%) compared to last year.
