According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in January 2025 amounted to 361.9 mln pcs.

The import grew by 2.2 mln pcs (+0.6%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 73.4 mln pcs (-16.9%) compared to January 2024.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (January 2023), the import increased by 235.5 mln pcs (2.9 times).
