Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for August 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in August 2025 reached 398.6 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 622.2 mln pcs (2.6 times).

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 44.7 mln pcs (-10.1%) compared to August 2024.

The import grew by 40.8 mln pcs (+11.4%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2023).

Year-to-date, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 5.7 bln pcs, up by 3.7 bln pcs (2.9 times) compared to the previous year.
