According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in March 2025 reached 235.9 mln pcs.

The import decreased by 137.8 mln pcs (-36.9%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes declined by 459.3 mln pcs (2.9 times) compared to March 2024.

Relative to the same month two years ago (March 2023), the import declined by 306.3 mln pcs (2.3 times).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 971.5 mln pcs, decreasing by 475.7 mln pcs (-32.9%) compared to the same period last year.
