According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 315.9 M pcs.

The import dropped by 1.5 B pcs (5.8 times) compared to the previous month.

Compared to May 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year decreased by 11.9 M pcs (-3.6%).
