Kazakhstan: Imports of flat rolled steel for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) in August 2024 amounted to 21.8 K MT.

The import grew by 8.2 K MT (+60.2%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of flat rolled steel declined by 7.1 K MT (-24.7%) compared to August 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 8.4 K MT (+62.8%).

YTD, the import of flat rolled steel amounted to 196.0 K MT, which is 13.5 K MT (+7.4%) more compared to the same period last year.
