According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of telephones (HS Code: 8517) amounted to 1.4 mln pcs.
The import grew by 115.1 thsd pcs (+9.0%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of telephones rose by 557.3 thsd pcs (+67.0%) compared to December 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import rose by 327.4 thsd pcs (+30.8%).
The import of telephones YTD amounted to 9.1 mln pcs, falling by 360.6 thsd pcs (-3.8%) compared to the previous year.
