According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of rice (HS Code: 1006) amounted to 3.1 thsd metric tons.
The import decreased by 7.4 thsd metric tons (3.4 times) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to July 2023, the import of rice showed a year-on-year increase of 433.1 metric tons (+16.0%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import showed a decrease of 4.6 thsd metric tons (2.5 times).
The YTD import of rice reached 49.6 thsd metric tons, increasing by 7.3 thsd metric tons (+17.2%) compared to last year.
