Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for April 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in April 2024 reached 260.8 mln pcs.

The import increased by 22.5 mln pcs (+9.5%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to April 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 2.2 mln pcs (+0.8%).

Two years ago, in the same month (April 2022), the import increased by 188.7 mln pcs (3.6 times).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 681.9 mln pcs, which is 570.9 mln pcs (-45.6%) less than last year's figure.
