, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in October 2024, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) totaled 20.1 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 7.1 thsd metric tons (+54.1%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of bananas rose by 2.9 thsd metric tons (+17.2%) compared to October 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (October 2022), the import increased by 4.9 thsd metric tons (+32.1%).
The YTD import of bananas amounted to 163.5 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 3.8 thsd metric tons (-2.2%) compared to the same period last year.
