, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in July 2024 reached 12.0 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 1.5 thsd metric tons (+14.7%).
In comparison to July 2023, the import of bananas showed a year-on-year decrease of 2.7 thsd metric tons (-18.5%).
The import dropped by 2.0 thsd metric tons (-14.1%) compared to the same month two years ago (July 2022).
The YTD import of bananas amounted to 119.8 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 4.3 thsd metric tons (-3.5%) compared to the same period last year.
