According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2025, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 620.3 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 17.4 mln pcs (-2.7%).

Compared to July 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year decreased by 317.8 mln pcs (-33.9%).

The import dropped by 291.2 mln pcs (-31.9%) compared to the same month two years ago (July 2023).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 4.8 bln pcs, falling by 885.3 mln pcs (-15.6%) compared to the previous year.
