Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for July 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 357.2 mln pcs.

The import increased by 27.0 mln pcs (+8.2%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to July 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year increase of 227.2 mln pcs (2.7 times).

The import dropped by 912.3 mln pcs (3.6 times) compared to the same month two years ago (July 2022).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 1.5 B pcs, decreasing by 754.2 mln pcs (-33.1%) compared to the same period last year.
